April C Thomas, owner and creator of Fashions Revisited specializing in 18th century clothing construction and history, is available to give lectures and workshops for your club, organization, or historic site. Workshops and lectures can be tailored to specific subjects and time periods.
April has over 20 years experience in hearth cooking, living history interpreting, and has studied antique garments in Europe & America.
In 2004, April was featured on Food TV’s “The Best Of” and she has given workshops for historic sites and foundations including Colonial Williamsburg.
April’s own private collection includes rare and unique 18th century pieces, as well as an extensive Victorian/Edwardian collection. These garments can be displayed and viewed as part of a presentation to suit your needs.
Additionally, April is available to display period reproduction pieces, and to teach garment construction.
