Reproduction Documentary Print Cotton
English Gown & Petticoat
Ivory Cotton with period Chintz print in Blue, red & other colors. This fabric was produced by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and is a documentary print copied from a textile in their collection. This gown Styled to be worn during the last quarter of the 18th century, adjustable front pins in place, sleeves are a finished with lace and self pinked ruffle. Pinked ruffle around the neckline & hem, based on the decorations popular on gowns of the time.
The gown has a matching petticoat, fitted waistband at the front, but still adjustable to within a range of waist measurements to insure a good fit each time you wear it.
Machine sewn interior, Hand sewn finished exterior including all hems!
All Pinked edges have been finished with fray-check solution.
